The Truth On Hair Loss Myths... |
|
You might be surprised to learn that many people are unable to untangle fact from fiction when it comes to hair loss. Some of the blame lies with the many companies and individuals exploiting hair loss myths in order to sell bogus hair products. Other myths may linger because people with hair loss, particularly women, are reluctant to talk about an issue that remains sensitive and sometimes emotional. The timing and pattern of pattern baldness is also different in men and women. While men tend to start losing hair in the 30s and 40s, hair loss begins in the 40s or 50s in women, though it can occur as early as the 20s. And while men first lose hair in the front and at the top of the head,... |

That's why there is great need for hair loss products.. Although there are numerous causes for hair loss, dietary insufficiency is found to be a major one. Hair loss can be caused by a deficiency in B vitamins- especially B6, inositol, Biotin, and folic acid. B vitamins, especially B5 (pantothenic acid) and B3 (Niacin) are an important part in growth of hair follicle. In order to cure hair loss, Vitamin supplement intake should be performed carefully. Women Experiencing Temporary Hair Loss |
|
While hair loss is considered a normal part of aging for men, hair loss in women is much less common. Thus, hair loss in women is much more detrimental to a woman's self image than it is for a man. Women with thinning hair are often ridiculed and may find it difficult to be seen in social situations. But what makes male and female hair loss so different? The truth is that there are not many differences in the way the hair is lost or why. While it is true that fewer women are susceptible to genetic hair loss, a small group of women do still experience this disease. This type of hair loss may cause complete baldness and is not temporary. It is a popular misconception that these... |

Hair Loss in Men: Myths and Truths
Author:
David Everett
Hair loss in men can be one of the most annoying conditions for many. Most men consider their hair to be an important part of their identity and personality; without hair many men can begin to lose their personality and self-confidence. Next thing you know they start to watch those late night infomercials offering a miracle cure for hair loss, and before they realise it, they have become the proud owners of a medicine cabinet full of useless items. Many myths have been spread about hair loss in men via these infomercials. The Myths - It used to be considered that hair loss in men was a prerogative of the elderly, but we now know that is not the case. These days hair loss can happen to people as young as 20 (both men and women).
- Some doctors claim that stress will cause your hair to fall out. Although this has not been determined to be a factual cause of severe hair loss in men, it has, however, been determined that men who are stressed as a result of their daily life will lose more than the average 100 hairs per day.
- Despite some claims, tight fitting hats do not cause loss of hair. There has been no proven hair loss caused by a hat being too tight and cutting the blood circulation to the hair follicles. You would experience a severe headache long before you would lose any hair.
- They say hair being dirty will damage it and cause it to fall out. Not true. The worst thing that can be caused by having dirty hair is scalp irritation; nothing that a good wash won’t cure. After all, have you ever seen a picture of a bald caveman? No, I thought not.
- Shaving your head will make the hair grow back thicker and fuller. Don’t you believe it. In point of fact, it will have the opposite effect. If you shave your head while you are suffering from hair loss, it could just quicken the loss.
- Severe cases of dandruff cause hair loss in men. Again, just not true. Dandruff is a scalp condition and has absolutely nothing to do with the hair or the hair follicles.
The Real Cause The true cause of hair loss in men is largely down to genetics. From puberty to adulthood, androgens interact with the genetically determined, highly sensitive hair follicles. This process degrades the hair follicles, causing alteration of the hair growth cycle. This will eventually lead to baldness. Hair loss in men can be lessened - and in some cases even stopped. However, first you need to have the correct information on your own particular hair loss situation, and then you need to find the right medication according to that situation. Remember, the longer you wait, the harder it will be to slow or stop your hair loss. Discover more facts concerning hair loss in men at http://www.best-hair-loss-answers.com/male-hair-loss.php

How to Stop Hair Loss in Its Tracks! |
|
Coming to the realization that you are losing your hair and you are starting to go bald can be devastating. Most people think it only happens to men, when in fact, a large percentage of women lose their hair as well. The good news is there are a number of great hair loss solutions and remedies that can help the fight against thinning hair and baldness. Hair loss in most cases is caused by genetics and it is the hardest to combat. But if your hair loss is not genetically related, it may be a result of poor diet, stress, alopecia or lacking certain vitamins and minerals. If that’s the case, immediate actions can be taken to stop your hair loss. When you look in the mirror, you will likely notice your hair thinning at the top of your head and possibly at the hairline. Most often, male pattern baldness starts with a receding hairline and it just continues right across the top of the head until there is only a fringe of hair around the head. Unfortunately there is no drug available to cure or stop male pattern baldness. The most popular form of hair loss solution in this case is hair transplant. Most of us remember those awful hair plugs, well things have gotten a whole lot better since then. Technology has made some remarkable advancements and hair transplant surgery has improved dramatically over the past 10 years. It is a hair loss remedy that both men and women are using. The downside of good hair transplants is that they can be expensive. You can opt for a less expensive alternative which would be a hair piece or toupee. If transplant surgery isn’t for you, speak to your doctor about Rogaine which has been proven to start hair regrowth. You apply Rogaine directly the scalp. You will see new hair growth but it may take up to 6 months before it happens.... |
