Cause of Male Hair Loss... the Sad Facts!
Balding men will often think about the causes of hair loss in men but in reality your hair loss will often be inevitable depending on your genetic background and if your father / grandfather suffered hair loss. Sure there are some good treatments that may reduce the causes of male hair loss but many of the factors are already determined beforehand. The major reason for male hair loss is related to genetics. This gene is a dominant trait that is usually present through the male gene. If you have a father, who was bald or lost hair, then you will be likely to lose your hair as well. However, it is important to realize that although this is the main cause of male hair loss, you can take...

It seems almost surreal that over to 80 million American men and women are affected by hair loss. Hair loss is not only genetic; it can also be brought on by a number of factors of our own doing. Doctors specializing in hair loss will often ask the following questions of their patients: What’s a typical day in your diet? Are you taking any medications (including vitamins)? What’s your family history of hair loss? Have you been afflicted with a recent illness? What are your daily hair care habits? For both men and women hair is simply our crowning glory. Society (the world over) places a huge deal of social and cultural importance on hair (length, health and thickness) and...

Hair loss solutions guide and how to prevent baldness from happend to you

Author:

Coming to the realization that you are losing your hair and you are starting to go bald can be devastating. Most people think it only happens to men, when in fact, a large percentage of women lose their hair as well. The good news is there are a number of great hair loss solutions and remedies that can help the fight against thinning hair and baldness. Hair loss in most cases is caused by genetics and it is the hardest to combat. But if your hair loss is not genetically related, it may be a result of poor diet, stress, alopecia or lacking certain vitamins and minerals. If that's the case, immediate actions can be taken to stop your hair loss.

When you look in the mirror, you will likely notice your hair thinning at the top of your head and possibly at the hairline. Most often, male pattern baldness starts with a receding hairline and it just continues right across the top of the head until there is only a fringe of hair around the head. Unfortunately there is no drug available to cure or stop male pattern baldness. The most popular form of hair loss solution in this case is hair transplant. Most of us remember those awful hair plugs, well things have gotten a whole lot better since then. Technology has made some remarkable advancements and hair transplant surgery has improved dramatically over the past 10 years. It is a hair loss remedy that both men and women are using.

The downside of good hair transplants is that they can be expensive. You can opt for a less expensive alternative which would be a hair piece or toupee. If transplant surgery isn't for you, speak to your doctor about Rogaine which has been proven to start hair regrowth. You apply Rogaine directly the scalp. You will see new hair growth but it may take up to 6 months before it happens. It is important you speak to your doctor about potential side effects and how long new hair growth lasts once you stop applying the cream. Hair loss can be embarrassing, but today, you have more options than ever before.

What! Female Hair Loss Treatments!
Many people think that hair loss is a male problem, but it is one that many females suffer from as well. Hair loss is a very traumatic experience for a woman, even though it perfectly natural to lose your hair as you get older. When young women start to experience hair loss, they start to research the kinds of female hair loss treatments that are available to them. The treatment they find depends on what is causing the hairloss to occur in the first place. Some of the causes may be stress or hormonal changes. In these cases the doctor can easily prescribe female hair loss treatments that have nothing to do with hair growth. New hair loss treatments are coming on the market all the time, but their validity has yet to be determined. Scientists will tell you that many of the so-called new hair loss treatments may not work for you. Since every person is unique and the reasons for hair loss vary from person to person, there are no one kind of female hair loss treatments that work for everybody. With the doctor prescribed hair loss treatments for women, the one that has had the most success is a topical solution containing 2% Minoxodil. New hair loss treatments containing higher percentages are still being tested to see if they are suitable for females to use. Female hairloss treatments sometimes vary to male hair loss treatments. Another of the new hair loss treatments available for men is a hair growth pill. This is not being considered as one of the female hair loss treatments because of the possibility that it may cause birth defects. Pregnant or nursing mothers should never use the prescribed treatments for hair loss because it is not known what effect it could have on an unborn or newborn baby. Many women are turning to aromatherapy as female hairloss treatments....
