Propecia Hair Loss- a Proven Therapy
For men hair loss is a sensitive issue. Medical science clearly points out the cause of hair loss. Even though we read in many magazines that the main cause for hair loss is from both hormones and genetics, male pattern hair loss is noticed among 95 percent of all individuals suffering from hair loss. The main role in the male pattern hair loss is played by DHT. The DHT can be controlled by using Propecia. Hair loss cannot be seen after using Propecia. When your body holds more DHT, the hair follicles become finer and thinner until the hair is permanently falling. DHT is the main hormone used extensively in the early stages of the human population. Preventing And Disguising Hair Loss

Author:
Elizabeth Gilley

In a perfect world, only aged, retired men need to worry about losing their hair. But the world is not perfect and so is our hair. Recent studies show that teens of both genders are as likely to develop hair loss as older men. Testosterone is the culprit and the leading cause of hair loss. Since teens' bodies are not yet completely differentiated from each other (male or female), each have testosterone in significant amounts. Add to that the stress of homework, dating, and the general quality of teenage life, and teens are more likely to tear their hair out.

Since teens are not capable of paying for expensive hair treatments or hair implants, their only options are prevention and disguise. It is easy to prevent hair loss with proper hair care and treatment. It is natural to shed hair, but excessive shedding needs medical attention. Consult a doctor in cases of extreme hair fall in your teen. Excessive hair fall includes shedding locks of hair at times and hair fall with no apparent trigger. It might be a deficiency in vitamins or minerals which can be easily addressed by supplements or a symptom of an illness. In any case, seek medical attention before attempting to do anything with your teen's hair. If the cause of hair fall is nutrient deficiency, ensure that your teen takes the prescribed supplements religiously to prevent further hair fall. If it is a symptom of a disease, take your teen to a hairdresser. Ask the hairdresser to cut your teen's hair in a style that hides the thinning portion. A shorter 'do also reduces the trauma of seeing longer locks fall off. Get your teen a mild cleanser or even baby shampoo during hair fall phase. This prevents irritations to the exposed scalp and hair breakage.

Hair loss cannot be reversed overnight. While waiting for the effects of the medication or during the treatment, you can help your teen with hair disguises. If your teen decides he wants to use a wig, bring a lock of hair to the wig shop where they can make a wig similar to your teen's hair type. Hats are good options to hide thinning hair. The basic ball cap is casual and fit for everyday wear. Hats are made with different materials. Just pick one that lets the scalp skin breathe out but does not let sun and heat penetrate. Scarves, turbans, and shawls are great and fashionable options for your teen.

It is tragic to suffer from hair loss during the stage when appearance matter most. Don't let hair loss weigh your teen down. Provide support and treat the condition positively to influence your teen facing this challenge.

Everything You Want to Know About DHT and Hair Loss
Male hair loss is often caused by an aggressive hormone known as DHT. This type of hair loss is hormonal and unfortunately not temporary. For males this type of hair loss can be devastating, however there are treatments available. DHT is an aggressive form of the male hormone testosterone. DHT performs many critical jobs in a male's body. Despite the positive roles DHT performs, it can be problematic. For example, when the prostate gland malfunctions and forms too much DHT, the hormone can cause serious problems, such as aggression and hair loss. How does DHT actually cause hair loss? In excessive amounts, DHT has been known to attack (for unknown reasons) a man's hair follicles. This causes the hair follicle to shrink and weakens existing hair as a result. The hair will inevitably fall out and new hair will not grow in its place (because the attacked hair follicle is now too small). This can very quickly lead to large bald patches. Most medical problems that have been diagnosed as 'hormonal problems' have been easily treated by increasing the amount of a certain hormone in the body. However, many tests have been done with this type of cure for DHT related hair loss. Unfortunately, all of these tests have failed. While there isn't exactly a 'cure,' this doesn't mean that treatment is not available. It most definitely is. Many shampoos and solutions are available for DHT hair loss. These work by slightly re-opening shrunken follicles This type of treatment has been successful in slowing hair loss significantly. Indeed many of these products have claimed to stop hair loss all together. Fact or fiction? You be the judge. If all else fails, you may be left pondering alternative forms of hair restoration. Hair...
